CoNtRaCtIoNs?

NaVy WiFeY asked:

I am 27 weeks and 1 day, Yesterday I started having contractions. At first they were irregular then they became 6 minutes apart and were lasting about 40 seconds. They eventually stoped.
Since I have been up (6 hours) I have had 3 that were irregular and lasted about 15 seconds.
Should I be concerned? Everytime I call my doctor she tells me to go to the ER; however, I don’t feel I like I’m in labor!
Please help… with serious ansers & experience!!

It may be Braxton hicks or dehydration. Listen to your doctor and get checked out. Why do you call her if you are not going to take her advise?
