My wife is 38 weeks and 1 day pregnant. For the last week she has been having contractions. Sometimes regular but most not. Some more painful then others.

She is really feeling pain during the contractions in her vagina, and this is something she never felt before with her other pregnancy’s.

Is this a normal pain, or should I be taking her up to L&D?

She has another Dr’s Appt this coming Tuesday.

My girlfriend began complaining of painful contractions today, 19 days after her last period. She is on the pill and is most definitely not pregnant / going into labour. If this is her period it’s an entire week early and the pill is supposed to regulate that. Any clue what’s going on? We are sexually active and she thought she might be miscarriaging.
