Can you feel every real contraction with your hand? Do they tighten all over the belly every single time? I have what I think are contractions but I can only feel part of my abdomin tightening. I don’t feel tightening under my breast bone, but do all below. Especially below the belly button.

They are planning on breaking my water and having me walk to get the contractions going. I am already dilated to 5 cm and am almost 100% effaced. I just don’t know what it will feel like. I know that them breaking my water is supposed to be painless but I am nervous about how strong the contractions will be afterwards.

I’ve been having what I believe are contractions. They sent pain around my low back but they are NOT menstrual-like. They are another type of pain. I am not sure if it’s contractions though because my uterus only balls up on one side, but it does hurt.

I went to the hospital today actually and was sent back home. No dilation yet.
