Atrial and ventricular contraction?

Wednesday, September 14th, 2011
fallen*angel asked:

Which waves on the ECG show precisely atrial and ventricular contraction? I know what each wave stand like for, like the P wave for atrial depolarisation, QRS ventricular depolarisation etc. I just can’t think whether contraction actually happens during depolarisation or after depolarisation?

Thanks!
