Heart ablation, Pros and Cons ?

I have intermitent rapid atrial fibrulation, my electrphysiologist wants me to have a heart ablation when the go in an kill the part of your heart that is misfiring. I am not sure this is the way to go since my condition is intermittant and therefor not predictable. I don’t like that they will be zapping parts of my heart that may be healthy and weakening my heart further. Pros and Cons please.

      For people who cant tolerate the risk of these because it will not an invasive procedure so there it the areas they burn are very small about but it the symptoms of people it is.

      This ablation is done in the area of the 4 pulmonary veins, as they intersect with the left atrium. It doesn’t weaken the heart and it is very effective in the proper, experienced hands. Works well when it works, which it does most of the time.
